Jennifer Lawrence And Nicholas Hoult Split

It appears that Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are back on the market, as the couple have reportedly ended their relationship.

The “Hunger Games” hottie and her man haven’t been seen together in months, with their work schedules keeping them apart. According to People magazine, the couple, who met on the set of “X Men : First Class” in 2011, were initially not bothered by their long distance relationship.

JLaw said in a May interview, “We’re so young that it would almost be like, if we lived in the same city, what would happen? We’d be living together. At least this way he’s in the same boat as I am: We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other.”

This is the second time the duo has parted ways. They briefly broke up in January of 2013.

Jennifer & Nicholas’ Relationship May Be On the Rocks

It’s really tough for Hollywood love affairs to last and it looks like Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult’s relationship is the latest victim of the epic breakup.

According to Page Six, the “About a Boy” actor stepped out with his ex-girlfriend Riley Keough last week and got cozy inside a Manhattan hot spot.

The tabloid continues that Hoult and Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter cuddled in a booth at No. 8’s “Philo Prom.”

“They were sitting arm-in-arm in a booth with Adam Lambert and Charl Brown,” the source told Page Six.

Another witness told the tab that Hoult was chatting with “a bunch of other girls.” Jen and Nick have had an off-again-on-again relationship since 2010 after meeting on the set of “X-Men: First Class.”

Jennifer Lawrence Predicted To Be Oscars 2016 Contender

Jennifer Lawrence already has three Academy Awards nominations and one best actress Oscar win under her belt, but it doesn’t appear as if the Hollywood A-lister will be slowing down her awards season streak anytime soon.

The LA Times reconfirmed Tuesday that Lawrence, 23, has signed on to star in director David O. Russell’s upcoming film, “Joy.” According to reports, the “Hunger Games” franchise lead is set to portray the true-story film’s lead, Joy Mangano, a struggling Long Island mother whose “Miracle Mop” invention turned her into a shopping-network TV star.

While the film has yet to begin production, “Joy” is already speculated to be a potential player in the 2016 Academy Awards, with its pivotal December 25, 2015, release date. “A holiday release indicated the studios see the film as an award-seasons contender,” reads the report.

So will Jennifer Lawrence score her fourth Oscar nomination with Russell’s “Joy”? That would be remarkable for someone so young. While the future is unclear, Lawrence’s chances of scoring recognition from the Academy is likely, considering her career track record with Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook“ and most recently his crime/drama blockbuster “American Hustle.” “The timing indicates that ‘Joy’ is hoping to follow suite,” reported The Guardian.

Lawrence last discussed the upcoming Russell piece while promoting “X-Men: Days of Future Past” on “Live! with Kelly And Michael” last month. “He recently texted me at, I think, 4 in the morning and was like, ‘I think I wanna make a movie about the woman who invited the joy mop. You wanna do it?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah!’” Lawrence said about her decision to sign on to the film. “I could just image David just looking at somebody mopping and being like, ‘Yeah. That’s my next screenplay,’” Lawrence jokingly added.

Lawrence is reprising her role of Katniss Everdeen in the final two installments of the “Hunger Games” franchise, with “Mockingjay—Part 1” due in theaters November 2014, and “Mockingjay—Part 2” following with a November 2015 release. Lawrence’s drama piece “Serena,” co-starring Bradley Cooper, is also scheduled for a 2014 debut.

Jennifer Lawrence Is A ‘Remarkable’ Actress, Says Lori Petty

Jennifer Lawrence definitely has a fan in Orange is the New Black actress Lori Petty. Before she landed roles in The Hunger Games and X-Men: Days of Future Past, Lawrence appeared in Petty’s directorial effort The Poker House. The film tells the story of a 14-year-old girl who survives a vicious rape at the hands of her mother’s pimp. According to ABC News, the movie is loosely based on the Tank Girl star’s own experiences as a teenager.

Although Jennifer appeared also in writer-director Jason Freeland’s Garden Party back in 2008, The Poker House essentially gave Lawrence her first opportunity to shine in a feature-length motion picture. Prior to these films, the award-winning actress had only appeared in a handful of television shows.

Petty told The Daily Beast that she was completely blown away by Lawrence’s dedication to the role. Since the production was operating on a small budget (around $1.5 million), they had to work quickly to get the story in front of the camera. This required filming quite a few scenes every day, though Lawrence was apparently up to the task.

Petty explained:

“Look, she deserves one hundred percent of her success, period. In addition to that, I think I passed along 25 years of experience of being an actress to her… She’s amazing and the camera loves her, and that’s why I cast her.

The League of Their Own star continued:

“She’s going to be around forever and ever. I wrote her half-page monologues, and she’d just knock them out of the park. It was a small budget, under $1.5 million, and she was doing like eight pages a day. I went up to her mom and said, ‘What do we do after lunch? I don’t want her to crash!’ and she went, ‘Oh no, she’s fine. This is what she does.’ She’s remarkable, that kid.”
